An Upstate New York woman was arrested this weekend for assaulting her Uber driver, making an attempt to flee from police custody and attacking hospital staff.
Jesse Cross, 27, of Plattsburgh, was arrested in South Burlington, Vermont, round 10 p.m. on Saturday.
Police responded to a 911 name and arrived to seek out Cross attacking the driving force. Cross was taken into custody for Simple Assault and Reckless Endangerment. From there, she was taken to Williston State Police barracks, the place police say her conduct was escalated and disorderly.
After being processed, she was taken by police to the University of Vermont Medical Center. During the experience, police say she tried to kick the window out of the again of the police car, then assaulted a police officer who was trying to cease her.
Upon arrival on the hospital, police say Cross dedicated one other assault towards a member of hospital staff.
She was additional charged with Disorderly Conduct, Assault on a Law Enforcement, Assault on a Medical Professional.
Cross is due in courtroom on November 14.
Cross has a historical past of assaulting cops. In 2015, she was charged with felony assault for attacking cops after trying to flee a taxi with out paying the fare. She broke an officer’s thumb in that incident, in accordance with the Plattsburgh Press-Republican.
