Vermont State Police arrested a woman after they are saying she was assaulting her Uber driver.
It occurred simply earlier than 10 on Saturday night time. Police responded to a 911 name from an Uber driver in South Burlington. The driver says his passenger, Jesse Cross, 27, of Plattsburgh, was assaulting him.
Cross was taken into custody for easy assault in addition to reckless endangerment. From there, she was transported to the Williston State Police Barracks for processing. Police describe her as escalated and disorderly on the barracks, so she was transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center for an analysis. During the journey to the hospital, troopers say she was making an attempt to kick out the home windows of the police automotive. Once they arrived on the hospital, police say this conduct continued, and Cross assaulted a member of the hospital employees. She is due in courtroom on Nov. 11.
