An Uber driver is suspected of sexually assaulting a 21-year-previous Wayne State University scholar Thursday night after choosing her up in Midtown Detroit.
The incident, involving a 29-year-previous man, is thought to not have occurred on campus, Detroit Deputy Police Chief David LeValley stated Friday afternoon. He stated the person turned himself in at about 2 a.m., has no legal historical past and “hasn’t confessed to anything.”
The experience-hailing service stories it instantly eliminated the suspect’s entry to his account after it was notified of the allegations.
