Woman says Uber driver who served time for attempted murder sexually assaulted her – New York Post


KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City, Missouri, lady is suing Uber, alleging that a driver who served jail time for attempted murder sexually assaulted her in January after dropping her off at house.

The Kansas City Star reports that the lady alleges the driver took her to varied places that night and persuaded her to let him use her rest room when he took her house. She says she was intoxicated and he sexually assaulted her there.

The lawsuit was filed this month and in addition names the driver as a defendant. It says police are investigating the assault, however The Associated Press couldn’t instantly affirm that with the division.

The Star reviews that courtroom paperwork present the driver was accused of beating a lady in St. Louis final Christmas and that he spent eight years in jail for attempted murder.
