Missouri woman sues Uber, says driver sexually assaulted her – ABC News

A Kansas City, Missouri, woman is suing Uber, alleging that a driver who served jail time for tried homicide sexually assaulted her in January after dropping her off at house.

The Kansas City Star ( ) studies that the woman alleges the driver took her to varied places that night and persuaded her to let him use her rest room when he took her residence. She says she was intoxicated and he sexually assaulted her there.

The lawsuit was filed this month and in addition names the driver as a defendant. It says police are investigating the assault, however The Associated Press could not instantly affirm that with the division.
