HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) —
A grand jury has declined to indict an Uber driver accused of sexually assaulting a passenger.
In December, Qahtan Talib was arrested after a lady claimed he sexually assaulted her whereas they have been parked at a northeast Houston fuel station in June 2016.
According to surveillance video, Talib and the sufferer have been collectively within the automotive for 11 minutes.
Talib denied assaulting the lady.
The sufferer initially informed ABC13 that she was consuming together with her associates in downtown Houston. She continued celebrating at her pal’s house in north Houston.
After she walked to the Chevron fuel station on Irvington Boulevard, she referred to as her husband to return decide her up. He referred to as Uber as an alternative, and Talib accepted the decision.
“I feel so embarrassed, but I passed out. And when I woke up, he had his hand inside me and was kissing my neck,” she stated.
Police stated Talib could not clarify what he and the sufferer have been doing within the automotive collectively for 11 minutes.
