Trump-touting man allegedly points gun, hurls ethnic slurs at Middle Eastern Uber driver – New York Daily News

A hate-crammed van driver pointed a gun at a 55-year-previous Middle Eastern Uber driver in entrance of the Waldorf Astoria, claiming he might “take” him as a result of “Trump is now in office,” officers stated Tuesday.

The sufferer stated he was sitting in his automotive when a man in a blue van with New Jersey plates pulled as much as him as he was ready outdoors the swanky lodge on Park Ave. close to E. 49th St. in Midtown about 10 a.m. Monday.

The van driver flashed a gun and what seemed to be a police badge, the sufferer informed police.

“You’re a sand n—-r!” the van driver yelled. “Camel jockey, I can take you. Trump is now in office.”

Bomb threats again reported at Jewish centers, including New York

The motorist then sped off, leaving the Uber driver unhurt.

Members of the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force are investigating the incident as a potential bias crime.

No arrests have been made.

An e-mail to Uber for remark was not instantly returned.
