Terika Manigan says her six-yr-previous daughter, Takya, who is scarred and stayed at house from faculty on Monday, is blessed to be alive.
Manigan stated she and her three daughters took an Uber home from a nearby Walmart on Saturday night time. As they tried to cross the road from the automotive and into the home, a passing taxi stopped for her and her child, however apparently did not see her different youngsters.
“My oldest daughter had my middle child’s hand,” Manigan stated. “I don’t know what he was doing … he wasn’t paying attention. He had his phone in his hand, I seen that, and he just sped and he hit her and he kept trying to keep going.”
She stated her center daughter was underneath the taxi and the driver didn’t cease till Uber driver, Kodjo Algamey, 43, received out of his car.

Manigan stated she was hysterical and Algamey tried to console her.

Algamey later died at a native hospital.
